Trimester Two covers various propagation techniques for plants, including seed sowing, cuttings, division, layering, stem tubers, bulbs, grafting and more

It also addresses suitable environments for propagation and post-propagation care

Additionally, the Trimester discusses plant selection based on environmental conditions, such as shade and soil types and covers a wide range of plants including herbaceous borders, container plants, ground cover, annuals, perennials, bulbs, alpines, pond and bog plants, herbs, ornamental grasses, turf and wildlife meadows

The Trimester also explores vegetable and fruit cultivation, detailing the growth of brassicas, legumes, roots, alliums, salads, marrows, sweetcorn and perennials such as rhubarb, asparagus and artichokes

The Trimester shows you how to grow apples, pears, plums, cherries and other stone fruit, as well as soft fruit, cane fruit, berries and others

We also look at plant protection and pest and diseases whilst identifying beneficial animals before looking at vertebrate pests and invertebrates especially insects, with the emphasis strongly on natural ways of dealing with this
