Course Description
Horticultural skills starts with a minimum of Health and Safety and also shows you the poisonous plants you could encounter
It deals with site or border assessment, planning and cultivations
Plant categories and selection lead onto planting of trees and shrubs
We then look at pruning a range of plants, irrigating them and finish with a look at weather and climate to help you with selecting the best plants for your conditions and protecting them against unfavourable weather
